The Rosemount Area Arts Council (RAAC) relies on volunteers for its success.
Below are some ways members can be involved.
Attend the monthly board meetings and/or watch for notices listing  volunteer opportunities.

Volunteering is not only rewarding, but you can learn so much! Volunteers help in areas such as:
  • Publicity: Support publicity for events, including signage and media coverage. Gather information for a quarterly newsletter.
  • Website and Social Media Management: Help keep our website and social media sites up to date with current information.
  • Volunteer on Sub-Committees to Plan Events: Be a part of planning and executing community events like Art Blast, Christmas at the Steeple Center, etc...
  • Volunteer to Assist at RAAC Events: Greet guests, be ambassadors for the organization, sell concessions, etc...
  • Help Support Development of our Organization: Support membership, fundraising and grant writing efforts.
  • Assist with play production:  set construction, costume creation, prop management, and backstage during shows.

Emails go out monthly for upcoming event needs.
Current Volunteer needs - CAN YOU HELP US?
  • Treasurer:  Person to handle the finances of the organization.  Quickbooks experience is helpful, but not necessary.
  • Event Managers:  Person(s) to coordinate certain events throughout the year.  May include booking performers, working with Marketing for publicitiy, ensuring expenses are paid, working with box office to set up ticket sales.
  • Inventory Coordinator:  Manage an on-line list of costumes, props and set pieces.
  • Equipment Manager:  Manage electronic equipment including microphones, speakers, piano, etc.  Ensure all are in proper working order.
  • Concession Coordinator:  set up concessions for events; take inventory of remaining concessions, restock concession items as needed.

Moving Day - From a storage garage to a storage unit

Fundraiser Night at the Rosemount Culvers  The first Monday of every month from 5-7 pm

Highway Cleanup

The Rosemount Area Arts Council 'owns' the stretch of County Road 42 between Highway 3 and Pilot Knob Road. We head out each Fall and Spring to clean up this stretch of road to keep Rosemount looking beautiful. We have lovely yellow jackets, picker-uppers, buckets and bags if you'd like to join us sometime! We always have a fun time.

Moving Day

Volunteers came to help empty the storage garage filled with props and other supplies to move into a storage unit.
