RAAC Hosts Two Theater Companies
The Second Act Players (SAP) is a theater organization for seniors aged 50 and over. We welcome those seniors interested in any aspect of theater to participate. There are many opportunities for becoming involved.
Front Porch Players is a community theater group formed in 2013 and produces plays for all ages and levels of actors: from Melodramas, to Improv, to full length Broadway plays. Everyone is invited to audition for these performances.

Current Volunteer needs - Ways to get involved!
Set Construction Coordinator:
A person to oversee the design and construction for 4 plays each year. Actual construction usually takes less than a day for each play.
Event Managers:
Person(s) to coordinate certain events throughout the year. May include booking performers, working with Marketing for publicitiy, ensuring expenses are paid, working with box office to set up ticket sales.
Inventory Coordinator:
Manage an on-line list of costumes, props and set pieces.
Lighting Operator:
Learn to operate the lighting board used during plays and other event.
