Rosemount Area Arts Council
Visual Fine Arts
The Rosemount Area Arts Council promotes the visual arts in several ways. The work of local artists are on display in the Steeple Center Art Gallery and in a display case on the 2nd floor.
RAAC partners with Friends of The Robert Trail Library to display student art work during the school year at the Library.
RAAC also sponsors an annual photo contest during ArtBlast.
In addition, various receptions are held to introduce the artists and celebrate their work.
RAAC Steeple Center Gallery
The Rosemount Area Arts Council manages the Art Gallery in the halls of the Steeple Center.
This gallery is free and open to the public during business hours of The Steeple Center.

Stop by and wander the halls with a free cup of coffee or tea and take in the work of local artists and photographers.
Monday--Thursday from 8:30am--3:30pm and Friday from 8:30am--12:00pm
Fiber Arts
PHD/UFO
(Projects Half Done/Unfinished Objects)
Specializing in creating works of art in various fiber mediums. The types of work involve quilting, embroidery, wool work, needlepoint, cross stitch, hardanger, knitting, crocheting, crewel, wool felting, and any other types of fiber art.
Participants work on their projects while learning from others, showing off their finished work, and to socialize.
There is no fee to join the group, and everyone is welcome to join and bring their PHD/UFO’s.

The group meets Thursdays at The Steeple Center from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m., in Room 202
The Rosemount Area Arts Council is proud to partner with The Friends of the Robert Trail Library to present Student Art Exhibitions at the Dakota County Robert Trail Library.
For school year 2026, we are featuring a different local school every month.
The public is welcome! The Student Artist recognition program is one of the longest running programs in the history of RAAC.
