Rosemount 2026 Annual Photo Contest
The Rosemount Area Arts Council (RAAC) and the Rosemount Parks and Recreation Department will be partnering again to offer the 16th Annual Rosemount Community Photo Contest.
Dates: Monday June 22 - Saturday, June 27, 2026
The Rosemount Area Arts Council (RAAC) and the Rosemount Parks and Recreation Department are again partnering to offer the 16th Annual Rosemount Community Photo Contest. Please submit your best photographs in the following 8 categories (up to three per category):

Landscape- nature at its best

Wildlife- animals in the wild
-
Floral- indoor or outdoor beauty of flowers and plants

Lifestyle – people, activities, city scenes

“Give Us Your Best Shot” – A photo of anything, taken anywhere

Black & White – A black and white photo of anything, taken anywhere

Enhanced or significantly altered by software; (the original, unaltered, photo must also be submitted, mounted on foam board in any size, 8 x 10 or smaller)

Youth – Photographer must be 17 years of age or younger; any subject matter. Youth may also enter other categories.
Photo drop-off location: Steeple Center
Photos can be dropped off at the RAAC Box Office desk in the lobby at the Rosemount Steeple Center, 14375 So. Robert Trail, Rosemount, 55068. Mondays-Thursdays from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM , Fridays from 8:30 AM - 12 noon. No later than 3:30 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2026. Please have photos and labeled flash drive in a bag. Questions? Awards Reception and Judge’s Presentation at the Steeple Center:
Monday, June 22, 2026:
Photographers’ Reception 6:30 - 8:00 PM;
Judge's Presentation: 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Viewing Hours & People's Choice Voting at the Steeple Center:
Monday, June 22: Noon - 8:30 PM
Tuesday, June 23: 8:30 AM - 9 PM
Wednesday, June 24: 8:30 AM- 3:30 PM
Thursday, June 25: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM
Friday, June 26: 8:30 AM - 8 PM (end of People’s Choice voting)
Saturday, June 27: 9 AM-1 PM (People’s Choice winners will be announced at 9 AM) Pick up photos 3 PM-5 PM (at Steeple Center)

Contest Rules for 2026
Contest Rules

Awards will be given to first, second, third place, and People’s Choice in each category. Participants must submit their high-quality photos as either an 8”x10” or 8”x12,” mounted on foam board, along with a digital copy of the photo(s) on a flash drive with your name or initials on it. For display purposes, RAAC will be attaching a hanging device to the back of each photo. Framed or matted photos will not be accepted.

Please label the back of your photo(s) with the name of the photo, its category, your name, address, contact phone number, and email address. Use photo entry form available at RosemountArts.com or Park and Rec website. Photographer is responsible for securing the permission of any person, or legal guardian thereof, who is the subject of submitted photos.

Contest is open to Rosemount area residents; each participant may enter up to three (3) 8”x10” or 8”x12” photos in each category. Participants may enter as many categories as they wish.

Photos previously entered in the Rosemount Photo Contest are NOT eligible.

Entrants agree: entered photo(s) can be published or displayed (with proper credit) at no cost to the City of Rosemount or Rosemount Area Arts Council (RAAC).

Photos may be picked up on Saturday, June 27, between 3 PM and 5 PM at the Steeple Center or beginning Monday, June 29, 2026, during regular hours at the Steeple Center. Photos not picked up by September 30, 2026, will be discarded.
