Rosemount Area Arts Council Programs
The Rosemount Area Arts Council is proud to partner with
"Student Art Exhibitions" at the Robert Trail Library.
We feature a different local school every month, hosting a
reception so the student artists can show off their work to their
family and friends. Refreshments are served, and the kids eyes just
light up when they can show their work at such an event.
Public is welcome!
The Rosemount Area Arts Council sponsors this on-going program to allow people to meet and interact with notable local authors.
The Winter/Spring 2018 series include:
Jan 18 - Craig MacIntosh
Feb 15 - Joe Krogman
Mar 22 - Jeff Burton
Apr 19 - Carolyn Porter
May 17 Jeff Falkingham
All events will be held at The Robert Trail Library and begin at 6:30pm.
The Rosemount Area Arts Council manages the Art Gallery hanging in the halls of The Steeple Center. This gallery is free and open to the public during business hours of The Steeple Center. Stop by and wander the halls with a free cup of coffee or tea and take in the work of local artists and photographers.
A free Artist reception will be held on Wed. Jan 17th from 6-8 pm. A discussion will be held at 7 pm. Dan Wiemer and Rusty Fifield are the artists showing their work. Refreshments will be served.
The Rosemount Area Arts Council 'owns' the stretch of County Road 42 between Highway 3 and Pilot Knob Road. We head out each Fall and Spring to clean up this stretch of road to keep Rosemount looking beautiful. We have lovely yellow jackets, picker-uppers, buckets and bags if you'd like to join us sometime! We always have a fun time.
The Rosemount Area Arts Council partners with the Rosemount Area Literary Community to present author programs.
