In this course, we will examine a few of Shakespeare’s more popular plays from an historical standpoint, and how it has affected theater from that point forward. We will also discuss and experiment a bit with Shakespearean monologues. This will be a very fun class; we will hopefully come away with a bit better understanding of this very important and exciting playwright.
In this course, which consists of two-hour classes, will include:
•The history of Shakespeare •Overviews of his plays •The era •The language of Shakespeare •How to listen to Shakespeare
